Franco has been responsible for integration on Crisel Instruments custom systems and he’s company executive vice president.

He’s member of the committee in charge of new products strategic planning both for CrestOptics and D-TAILS.

Franco has more than 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering for leading aerospace companies. He has developed skills in designing and assessing manufacturing solutions for optomechanics, kinematics and cryogenics assemblies for infrared and sensors and imaging systems.

Franco holds a few patents that are still in use to produce professional tools sold worldwide; furthermore, he is still consulting to develop custom test equipment for the automotive industry.

Franco leads the mechanical engineering team of D-TAILS, providing innovative ideas and handling the relationship with an external workshop to speed up the prototype’s development and optimize production cost and the reliability of the final product.

Enrico Lanza is a distinguished physicist specializing in biosystem physics, holding both a Master of Science in Physics and a Ph.D. in Life Science.

His career is characterized by extensive experience in software development, particularly in electromagnetic propagation simulations and neuroscience data analysis. Enrico has honed his skills in various programming languages and data analysis tools throughout his academic and professional endeavors, significantly enhancing his proficiency. In addition to his computational expertise, Enrico possesses practical experience in establishing optical systems and developing software for image acquisition. These competencies have facilitated his contribution to several peer-reviewed publications and cemented his reputation in interdisciplinary research projects. Presently, Enrico is deeply involved in projects leveraging his vast knowledge in physics and life sciences, demonstrating his ability to apply a comprehensive skill set across diverse scientific domains.

After a master degree in Mechanical Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome, he started his professional career as a consultant in Systems Engineering and he’s now working in D-tails as a mechanical engineer and microfluidic specialist.
