Alessandro M. Cremona
Chairman | CEO
Alessandro graduated in Theoretical Physics (Milano), further studies in the USA, MBA (SDA Bocconi). He then developed his career in the financial sector, where he was CEO of the Italian branch of the largest Asian investment bank for twenty years. At the beginning of the last decade, he became interested in sustainability, circularity, and ESG criteria, always from an economic-financial point of view.
Currently, Alessandro is Chairman of Goldmann & Partners Srl SB, awarded B Corp as Best For the World in Environmental and Governance (July 2021). He is also Executive Chairman of D-Tails, an innovative start-up that has in place a joint lab with IIT-Università Sapienza in the fields of neurodegenerative diseases and cancer diagnostics; member of the board of CrestOptics SpA, a MedTech company (majority shareholder Apposite Capital LLP) of which he is also a member of the Remuneration, Diversity, Audit and Sustainability Committees.
Alessandro is also a member of the board of SoGeMi SpA, an in-house company of the Municipality of Milan that manages the wholesale food market of the city. He has held other board positions in real estate asset management companies, industrial corporates, and merchant banks. He has been a member of Aspen Institute Italia since 1996. In 2013 he founded a start-up (telemedicine), which later merged into another company of an American group.

Vincenzo Ricco
Founder | Director | R&D proxy
Thirty-five years of experience in system design and field tests in Infrared technology and imaging systems. For the last 25 years, he has been on the BOD of several companies manufacturing or selling Electro-Optics products. He played a key role in establishing and guiding research and development projects carried on within the Joint Lab collaboration between CrestOptics and IIT (Italian Institute of Technology).
Since October 2021 he is the CEO of D-TAILS, spinoff of CrestOptics dedicated to diagnostics.

Alberto Boffi
NED | Scientific Director
Prof. Alberto Boffi MD graduated in 1986 at Rome "Sapienza" and he is currently Full Professor of Molecular Biology, Department of Biochemistry in Rome, "Sapienza".
He is an expert in biochemistry and protein engineering, comprising molecular biology and biophysical technologies.
Since 2018 he was Principal investigator at Crest Optics in several national and international research projects in the field of Alzheimer diagnostics concerning the detection of Tau protein aggregates by fluorescence and luminescence methods, comprising the discovery and synthesis of novel fluorescent molecules, now IP of D-tails.

Renato Giacobbo Scavo

A degree in Electronic Engineering at University of Rome and an MBA at HEC School of Business, he has been working for over 20 years in Venture Capital and Private Equity industries.
Manager at Bain & Company focused on innovation, Investment Director at Jupiter Finance and then since 2007 serial entrepreneur and investor with several successful exits in high-tech industries.

Federico Bellan

He works in the field of intellectual property rights law, general commercial and corporate law since 2001.
He has over the years developed a specific expertise in technology transfer sector.
Holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property organized by the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) Academy and the Law School of the Turin University.
Authorised to practice law (2003) Bar Association of Turin.
